functions to create DNA and RNA alphabets

Description

The function DNAAlphabet returns an alphabet consisting of the letters ‘A’, ‘C’, ‘G’, ‘T’ and ‘-’ (the last representing a gap).

The function RNAAlphabet returns an alphabet consisting of the letters ‘A’, ‘C’, ‘G’, ‘U’ and ‘-’ (the last representing a gap).

Usage

DNAAlphabet()
RNAAlphabet()

Value

An object of class "NucleotideAlphabet". See NucleotideAlphabet-class for details.
