An interface function to update data

Description

updateData is an interface function to update data. So whenever the whole data set needs to be updated, this function is called. This function will be useful if the user wants to add new data types or new ways of storing the data.

Usage

updateData(type, name, newData, ...)

Arguments

type the type of data to update, currently only "dataframe" is supported
name the name of the data to update
newData the new data
... any extra parameters future users may need
